My Story

Joy is to gather ingredients from local markets, farmers, delis and shops. Cook delicious recipes old and new, lay down a mixture of tableware slowly collected over the years. Set up a festive table together with candles and flowers, take a moment to relax with a warm drink in our hands.

Pottery, food, flowers, gifts and music all connect. The soundtrack of our lives. None of these is complete on its own, everything and everyone has a part to play.

Acknowledging such connection fills me with gratitude for people who are part of us, another link in the chain, an endless source of memories to be created.
Through my hands out of my heart I take part in your daily rituals and joyful moments.

Ronit Yam Pottery is a small boutique pottery studio, making small batches of wheel thrown and handmade ceramics. Each piece is carefully crafted using traditional techniques.  No two pieces are exactly the same and small imperfections are inevitable. I am proud to keep this timeless craft alive.

I work and live in Israel on the top of Mount Carmel. My studio is surrounded by a nature reserve, full of wildlife, endless green mountains, and blue sky.

I mainly produce tableware and functional wares. The style of my work is minimalistic. The clay is my guide, I try to capture its natural beauty and show my unique interpretation of tableware. I draw my inspiration from nature.

I am influenced by the Japanese culture as well as Nordic design. I appreciate simple and clean designs and work with a quiet color palate.

I am honored to have the opportunity to create pieces that will become part of your story, part of your life.
